SYNOPSIS:
Welcome to the messiest little house in Australia, home to five unlikely friends: a lazy but brainy couch-potato Cockroach, a germ-loving Fly, a clumsy stick Spider who thinks its a spider, and two rock ’n’ roll Ants who quit the colony to party full-time. For years, life’s been good, crumbs for breakfast, mold for dinner, and zero responsibility.
That is, until their beloved landlords, an elderly couple who never minded the mess, fall ill and move into a nursing home. The pests are heartbroken, but still hopeful. Then one day, their worst nightmare arrives: a pair of newlywed interior designers, full of dreams, money, and disinfectant.
Within months, their cozy chaos is replaced by gleaming floors, voice-activated lights, and a futuristic cleaning system run by Roy, a neurotic robot obsessed with tidiness. And as if that weren’t enough, Bandit, a sleek robotic cat with night vision and laser precision, is unleashed to hunt down anything that crawls.
Suddenly, the crumbs are gone. The leaks are sealed. The trash bins are empty. The food chain collapses. For our tiny heroes, it’s do or die.
So, they rally together, five pests with more heart than brains, and launch “Operation Take Back the Crumbs.” With improvised gadgets, insect-level cunning, and a whole lot of chaos, they wage a hilarious war against the machines to reclaim their home and prove that imperfection is what makes life worth living.
