Hi Nick, I think this is an awesome idea! The only advice I have for the logline is considering cutting the bit about the owner's wife - because both the owner's wife and main character are female, it gets a bit confusing to mention the owner's wife and then continue to use "she" to refer to the main character. You might also consider hinting at what kind of scandal it is.
