A construction foreman and combat vet, struggling to balance his family with a new promotion, must make some difficult choices when one of his Soldiers steps back into his life. Sometimes war is easier than life.
SYNOPSIS:
Ed is a family man struggling to adjust to his new position at work. In construction he used to be one of the guys getting buildings built. Now he’s working spreadsheets and tracking invoices. The stress is starting to spill into his home-life.
Things seem to ease up when a young Soldier Ed served with in Iraq comes back into his life. Cody needs a fresh start, a place to stay, a job, and most importantly some guidance from Ed. It’s all working out, Cody is great on the construction site, and even gives Ed a big assist at home. He notices a serious issue with Ed’s teenage son that Ed has missed, by being overwhelmed with work.
Everything is great until Cody’s past catches up with him. A drug deal gone bad not only puts Cody in danger, but Ed and his family as well. Now Ed must make difficult choices. How much does he owe a kid that saved his life? How far will he go to protect his family?
Ed and Cody must use all of their skills and overseas experience to prevail in a final climactic confrontation with the dealers looking for their shipment.
