The end of South Africa's apartheid era in 1994 makes a successful illiterate businessman decide to reunite with his long-separated family. However, he inadvertently falls into grave love that not only ruse his riches but makes him fugitive.

SYNOPSIS:

FRANK MALETE is a successful Johannesburg businessman who gets halts in his decision to reunite with his long-separated families. The illiterate contractor left his family in Mpumalanga during the apartheid years for the gold city after an altercation that resulted in the killing of apartheid police during one of the land displacement’s grievances. Hence, after the extinction of the apartheid rule in 1990, amnesty is given to all blacks with treason offenses to return to their families. This makes Frank decides to return to his wife and children.

20 years later, the insane Frank inadvertently finds himself in the city of Pretoria after escapes several death traps. Hence, to haste his freedom, he meets with LUCY SITANDA, a lady- contractor, who just inherited property but cannot enjoy this due to a weird night dilemma. Hence, meeting Frank change her story. Their friendship turns to love despite their age differences. However, the two are on the verge of formalizing the unification when Frank regains his full consciousness. He resuscitates his hometown mission without hesitation, but Lucy does not consent to this.

Meanwhile, while Frank is preparing to leave, Lucy is confirmed pregnant. She consults a Sangoma, who gives a warning never to lose the man. But becomes tougher as NANCY, her mother refuses to approve the union. If Frank leaves, her trauma will halt the progress she has been enjoying. On the other hand, if frank refuses to fulfil the mission of going back to his first family, he will return to insanity worse than the previous one. The old man finds himself in-between his first family and newfound family. Who will he choose?
