High school student Agatha Grey asked her six closest friends for help. She was murdered a day later. As the friends navigate the next week in high school entrenched in their loss of innocence, they must band together and decide whether to choose a path of justice, or of revenge.
SYNOPSIS:
Nobody is perfect. Agatha Grey though... well, she was wonderful. She was a drama and choir kid who also wrote for the school newspaper. She had her group of friends, but wasn't exclusionary. She flitted in and out, and never wrote someone off. She was the friend you always wanted there, no matter the situation.
She gave a letter to the six people she could most trust in the world, asking for help.
Elvis, Seiko, Titus, Autumn, William and her sister Emma all showed up... but too late. They found their friend murdered, rather brutally.
After a day of grieving the students return to school. That day they decide to investigate what led Agatha to ask for their help. Over the next week the six begin their investigation amidst the backdrop of Aurea High School. What they uncover leads them deeper and deeper into the rabbit-hole of her initial investigation.
There's rooftop chase scenes, secret meetings, skipping school, cults, proms, danger around every corner... and at the heart, a group of young people learning to accept the loss of innocence and hold on to each other.
It's True Detective meets Breakfast Club with a side of 13 Reasons Why.
