MONSTER PARTY

MONSTER PARTY
By Kelly Song

GENRE: Fantasy, Comedy
LOGLINE:

It's a dangerous job: hunting down monsters and closing doors between our world and the Fae Realm, and no one said our heroes were the best on

SYNOPSIS:

In this first episode of Monster Party, ALEK and BENNY show up to the small, colonial era town of Far Haven in early September.

They've heard rumors of a bunch of Fae activity near the college there and decide to stop and investigate on their trip to New York (where they are moving).

Almost as soon as they enter the town, they are told in no uncertain terms to keep moving... by a girl who we supposedly saw eaten by a monster. Weird... but not unusual for these two.

But they have a job to do (and preferably before school starts in a week) so forge ahead they do.

The Job: find the monster, close the door, save the town.

But nothing goes according to plan. Their monster hunting devices are on the fritz, people keep getting in their way, and lo-and-behold... they forgot all about orientation. All the students show up a week early.

Along the way they meet NEKO (a wandering demon-hunter who is out for revenge), META (a shape-shifting escapee from the Fae Realm trying to fix a mistake), and WAYNE... a cat who is way more than just a cat.

It's up to our heroes to set this situation aright before it gets out of hand and tears the college apart (literally).

Within is the magical possibility of Harry Potter... the mission, repartee, and teamwork of Buffy... the connection to myth of American Gods... the hidden grandeur of Princess Mononoke... and the absolute dedication to optimism of Doctor Who... That is where you find: Monster Party.

Witty, uncanny, playful, and dangerous, Monster Party is the adventure we all wish we were on right now with our best friends
