A blood-curdling experience narrated by a member when the search team goes to find a missing family member. The key to finding the missing person is to find the Treasure, and the chances to find the treasure are almost, slim!
SYNOPSIS:
"I will come, but mind well, we're not likely to come back!" cautioned Himmat, when Zunzaar requested him to escort the search team in finding his missing brother.
Treasure Hunt in the Death Hollow is a two-year-long story narrated by Himmat about how the journey continues through mysterious places: Death Hollow, Chaand Mountains, Red-Rock Wall, Three Statues, Valley of Death - the dominion of Stone God. With grave places such as these, does the story stand any chance of having a happy ending? While the search party comes across many challenges: savage animal attacks, supernatural powers, cunning witches, and their witch-hunting games, the real question is, will the members succeed in their mission? The exploration takes the reader on their own journey, unfolding many secrets at every progression. The spine-chilling, first-hand experience keeps the suspense levels high right until the very end.
A little piece of conversation between the characters at the beginning of the story will give idea about the visuals of the movie/web series.
“I will come with you Zunzaar but remember it’s risky.
Chances are we may kiss goodbye to our lives rather than
saying hello to the treasure. I am saying treasure because to
find Maanaji, the key is to get to the treasure first. If we find it,
chances are we will find your brother, too!” said Himmat.
“I got it! I also promise that if we find Maanaji and if we are
close to the treasure, I will come to help you,” said Zunzaar.
“Can you tell me more?”
“It’s a long, treacherous journey. First, we need to go to
a small village called Hirapur. The summits of the Chaand
Mountains are visible from the outskirts of Hirapur. Then, we
need to cross a deadly jungle stretched over one hundred miles,”
said Himmat.
“Okay, I heard we need to cross even a desert. Is that true?”
asked Zunzaar.
“You are correct, my friend! Our fortitudes will be tested
when we walk in the burning sun crossing that desert, it has been
stretched over one hundred and fifty miles. We will have burning
sand under our feet, scorching sun over our heads, and violent
gusts at speeds greater than three-hundred-kilometres per
hour to stop us. People call it Sirocco, a hot desert wind. And,
during our journey, our only hope is to find a sand well, the Well
of Adulterated Water in the desert’s heart, which could only
keep us alive… I take the liberty to say, it’s like finding a needle
in a haystack. And if we don’t find the Adulterated Water
Well, be prepared to welcome the attack of desert vultures,
who will fly over our heads until we collapse. The creatures will
feast themselves later on our rotten corpses and carrion,” said
Himmat
The guests understood the man was kidding no more.
“I see,” said Zunzaar.
“And if we are lucky enough to cross the desert, we have to
descend deep into the Skull-Valley, also known as the Valley
of Death. The valley is known for its awfully sharp slopes, tight
turns, and savage animals. One misstep on the narrow path can
lead us into a deadly valley which is deeper than the abyss. The
natives rightly call it unfathomable!” said Himmat.
He paused to know the reactions of his guests.
“Go on, I am all ears!” said Zunzaar.
More Himmat tried to tell him how insurmountable the
journey was, more Zunzaar seemed keen to hear the story.
The changing expressions on his face said, he was dogged
determined to know everything necessary that he should know
before undertaking the excursion.
“After descending into the Skull-Valley, ruthless cannibals
will come to welcome us with their lethal weapons. They would
love to put our heads to swords and sacrifice us to their God!
You never know, which stone, which tree, which place they have
their God living in. They are scarier than death itself: deadly,
wild and merciless! It would be wise if we know the challenges
beforehand that we will encounter on this mission.”
“Anything else I should know?” asked Zunzaar.
“Among them is a four-hundred-year-old witch. She knows
the exact place where the treasure is hidden. I can lead only up
to the Red-Wall. However, without her help, we won’t be able to
find any treasure or Maanaji, if he’s trapped inside, I am sorry, if
alive,” said Himmat.
“Thanks for putting it bluntly. Anything else?” asked
Zunzaar.
“And the wicked witch has been a mentor to every king of
the tribe for centuries,” told Himmat. “Truth is, the witch will
embrace death than helping us out!”
The visitors felt that Himmat knew much more. With his
body language, he seemed to share his own experience.
“And what’s the story about the map, how did you get it,
Himmat?” asked Hambeer.
“Long ago, a man named Kaalicharan successfully reached
the treasure but returned empty-handed, for the witch betrayed
him. He died within a week. His servant found him dead in a cave,”
said Himmat. “Before dying, Kaalicharan drew a map and wrote
some notes on a piece of cloth, I mean, on his shirt inked with his
own blood, using his own leg bone!” told Himmat. “Seven years
ago, I met Kaalimukh, the descendant of Kaalicharan. When I
met him, he told me he was going to find the treasure again!”
