During a grand opening VIP tour, a racist politician with reelection aspirations and his entourage gets trapped inside of a Black history museum that comes alive.
SYNOPSIS:
Senator Montgomery comes from a long line of racist southern aristocrats who stay in their bubble of privilege and never hear the word “no.” When his poll numbers start lagging — particularly amongst his Black constituency — his reelection staff cooks up a plan to ensure his success.
The crux of his plan involves a new local construction project — a Black history museum that has garnered national media attention. Senator Montgomery is hoping to curry favor with his Black constituency by taking credit for being a key benefactor in finishing the building as well as capitalizing on the media coverage he’ll receive for being among the VIPs to tour the new museum.
However, when the signature exhibit, an ancient God Tree with magical properties, becomes active, chaos ensues. The God Tree seals the museum shut, effectively trapping Senator Montgomery, his hosts, and the VIP tourists. They all become trapped targets for the inanimate objects in the museum that come alive.
