This isn't bad, and it tells a lot of important detail, but because it's missing a major component of a logline, it needs improvement. Add what the man's goal is. Seems we know who he is and what challenges he's faced with, but what is he trying to do ultimately? Get out of his friend's house ALIVE? Get back to his own home that's better than he thought? Save his friend's life from a psycho mom? Etc....
