Sapphire, a defiant, black, female police officer goes against the rules of her time and arrests a white man. Little did she know that the story she’s about to unveil would bring her consequences, while affecting the lives and picking the interest of - Pearl, a skeptic editor-in-chief, and Jade, a believer and strong-willed young journalist -  almost fifty years later.
