We’ve all played video games where we confidently (albeit sometimes too confidently) make life-altering choices for that WW2 soldier, mystical elf or portly Italian plumber.

We know what is best for them, but never for ourselves.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do in life is to just “go for it,” especially when you’re an introverted, socially anxious teenager. There is always something to get in your way, whether that is the little voice in the back of your head telling you that you’re not good enough or just a lack of chutzpah.

Well, what if someone made these life changing decisions for you?

You’re too scared to ask out your crush? No problem. The Controller will have you performing an expertly choregraphed dance routine while simultaneously baking a cake and reciting every line from The Notebook in front of all your school peers.

Humiliating? Perhaps. Memorable? Definitely. Successful? TBD.

SULLIVAN “SULLY” CLARKE has always preferred to fade into obscurity rather than put himself out there. But, when he is taken over by “The Controller,” who uses him as if he were a first-person video game character, everything changes…

TAKE CONTROL is a 30-min comedy series that centres around The Controller’s effect on Sully’s life which usually ends in equal parts success, failure, and humiliation… sometimes all three.

It is a story of a kid who wants to be happy but gets in his own way every single time. But, with the help of a new friend he finds the strength and resolve to go out there and get the life he wants!

Throughout the first season, we will follow Sully as he navigates his final year of secondary school while he strives to relight the spark in his heartbroken Mum, repair the bond with his Dad, lock horns with the school Alphas and win over his long time crush.

The game is hotting up… and The Controller has just entered the game.
