Synopsis

London. The Swinging Sixties. FELICITY YORK, 30, is a small-time con-artist who, along with her pet pooch HOUND, specialises in scamming middle-aged men via a striptease routine. One night, Felicity attempts to con BILLY EAGLES, 35. However, Billy’s newlywed wife SALMA, 44, interrupts Felicity mid con… and reveals herself to be a master con-artist, who has schemed to have Felicity target Billy so that she can plead “infidelity” and get a tasty divorce settlement, and control over Billy’s retail empire. Out-conned, Felicity is sent to jail – broke, homeless, and ruined.

One prison sentence later. Felicity is forced to scrape the bottom of the barrel when it comes to marks, which leads her to inadvertently con the KRAY’S mother, making Felicity public enemy number one for the infamous East End brutes.

Needing to flee London, Felicity learns of PRINCESS SOFIA, a dog in the South of France who has just inherited £90million from her Baroness owner. Reading the newspaper article, Felicity spots Salma in the photo with the pampered pooch, and knows Salma is targeting the dog next.

Wanting to get her hands on the money and get revenge on Salma, Felicity concocts a plan where she will transform Hound into a regal, well-bred dog named KING RUPERT and have him woo and impregnate Princess Sofia, which will allow Felicity to be eligible for a large chunk of the fortune.

Arriving in Cannes, Felicity swindles a posh apartment, and along with Hound gate crashes Princess Sofia’s birthday party (one of seven she has annually.) However, Felicity’s attempt at a doggy “meet cute” is spoiled by Princess Sofia’s handsome personal valet, RAYMOND, 32. Not taking no for an answer, Felicity follows Raymond and Princess Sofia to a meeting with her BOARD OF DIRECTORS, who control her finances. They eavesdrop on Salma, who is Princess Sofia’s retail guru, and is utilising the company she won from Billy in their divorce, to fleece the dog out of millions. Realising Salma’s plan, Felicity sets Hound loose into the room, where Princess Sofia meets him and instantly falls in love. Salma sees Felicity, who calls herself COUNTESS FINKEL. They both threaten to blow each other’s cover, which forces them both to go along with the other’s ruse.

Having seen how well the two dogs got along, Raymond allows Felicity and Hound to join him and Princess Sofia on a night-time walk. Afterwards, Raymond walks Felicity and Hound back to their apartment. Felicity tricks Raymond into giving her an invitation to Monaco the next day, where Salma is showing Princess Sofia some new properties to invest in. Happy, Felicity seduces Raymond, and they go inside to have sex… which completely fails and ends disastrously!

The next day, Felicity and Hound join Raymond, Princess Sofia, Salma, and Salma’s accomplice, who is posing as Princess Sofia’s chauffeur, BRUCE, on a yacht to Monaco.

Utilising a contact she has in Princess Salma’s Board of Directors, MR MALKIN, Salma manages to have Bruce promoted to co-valet. Depressed by this, Raymond drowns his sorrows at the hotel bar. Felicity manages to cheer him up and they go up to Princess Sofia’s penthouse suite… and again fail to have sex, when they are interrupted by Bruce who arrives back with Princess Sofia.

The Board of Directors punish Raymond for this incident by giving Bruce the lead valet job. Felicity brings Raymond in on her plan, while maintaining the Countess Finkle guise. Knowing that this may be the only way to protect Princess Sofia and her money, Raymond agrees to help Felicity.

The pair manage to get Hound and Sofia in a room alone, which Salma has desperately tried to avoid, where nature takes its course. Two months later, Princess Sofia gives birth to a litter of puppies.

Out-conned, Salma offers Felicity £5m to give her Hound. She says that the father’s share of the fortune will be heavily contested by the Board, and Felicity does not have the funds to win. Forced to choose between the money or having to give up her best friend, Felicity refuses to give up Hound.

Angered, Salma reveals Felicity’s identity to Raymond and the police. Forced to flee France, Felicity knows that the life Hound can get with Princess Sofia is much better than any life that she can give him. She runs away, alone, leaving both her and Hound heartbroken.

With Felicity out of the picture, Salma gets Bruce to kidnap Hound and take him to a kennels, where they replace him with another dog – LORD ALBERT. Salma announced to the world that she is the owner of the doggy heiress’s baby daddy. The Board bring in pre-eminent vet DR SCHULZ to carry out a paternity test. Felicity plants a blood sample she took from Hound and passes it off as Lord Albert’s in order to fool the test and claim the money.

As she goes to escape France, Felicity overhears about the paternity test that will take place the next day, in front of the world’s media. Knowing that Hound and Princess Sofia are in trouble, Felicity reconciles with Raymond and they rescue Hound from the kennels.

They arrive at the paternity test, just as it is announced that Lord Albert is the father. But, when Princess Sofia runs over to Hound instead of Lord Albert, Felicity rallies the crowd into demanding a retest. Salma desperately tries to dissuade this, but Dr Schulz agrees to test the samples again.

The testing goes deep into the night, until finally Dr Schulz announces the results of the new tests. Dr Schulz reveals that Lord Albert is not the father, and that Hound is… also not the father!

The crowd gasp in disbelief. Raymond can’t believe it. But Felicity is surprisingly cool. Seeing the French police coming for her, Salma escapes backstage… where she runs into Billy Eagles and the Krays. Felicity reveals that she has made a deal with the Krays. She has uncovered the biggest leech on their empire, Salma, who has acquired multiple business the Kray’s have their fingers in through her hasty divorce scheme, including Billy’s. Salma will be left with nothing when she comes out of prison, much like how she left Felicity. As Felicity doesn’t have anything to her name – having failed with her con – the Krays agree to let her off. Salma and Felicity are both arrested for fraud.

It is revealed, that through a loophole in the Baroness’s will, if the Board of Directors are discredited, (which they have been due to Mr Malkin’s links with Salma) control of Princess Sofia’s fortune reverts to her personal valet, which is Raymond once again. Felicity switched out the samples of Hound with another dog, so that Hound was not revealed as the father, in order for her to not owe the Krays any of the money.

Another prison sentence later. In one of the luxurious bedrooms in Princess Sofia’s mansion, Felicity and Raymond finally have sex. They are both now living a life of luxury, in love with each other, and with their beloved dogs who are also in love. A perfect, happy family.

The End.
