LOGLINE:

Kimiko head of a female vigilante group sets out to avenge the death of her boyfriend, taking down a trafficking syndicate and stopping a psychopath.  In doing this, she has to employ the help of a notorious gang leader and come to terms with the fact that he is her father.

SYNOPSIS:

In her quest to avenge the death of her boyfriend, Kimiko discovers that a member of her vigilante team has betrayed her. It is only when this member is brutally murdered that a link is established to the murder of her boyfriend. Meanwhile, the newest member of the vigilante team, Katja, suspects her father, Ryno of being involved in these murders.

Ryno a respected businessman by day is not only suspected of these brutal murders but also the trafficking of women and children. Power hungry and driven by his sadistic desires, Ryno aims to take out anyone who gets in his way.

Supported by a secret branch of the government headed by Khosi Mogane and an international funder, Aron Pinck, the vigilantes are given the resources needed to punish violent offenders of women and children and stop trafficking. Aron’s involvement as a funder is fuelled by his need to find his daughter, who was kidnapped a few years ago.

As we will discover, the destinies of psychopath and funder are intimately intertwined, with familial betrayal playing an integral part.

With no allies to call on in the heat of trying to stop a trafficking transaction, Kimiko is faced with a very hard decision. In the end, she calls on the services of the one person she doesn’t want to approach for help – her father, the most notorious gangster on the Cape Flats. It is at that moment that the protagonist’s accepts her identity.

Ryno’s death is overshadowed as Kimiko’s lover lies in the dust next to him, covered in blood and bullets.
