Hi, Brittany! Conceptually, I'm SUper super into this and agree with the Eighth Grade/Lady Bird vibe (it also feels like a perfectly natural follow up to Mid 90s).
B A raised some really good points, and I think that I just want to know what the inciting incident is here. We definitely know what her obstacles are, we definitely know what's at stake (or certainly a big something that's at stake), but knowing the inciting incident will definitely help to hook us in even more.
Her eating disorder is definitely an intrusive presence and driving force of the drama, but I’ve also tried to make her a dimensional character who isn’t defined by it. So her ED isn’t the main point of the show, it just complicates everything she does. The main inciting incident is a breakup that happens right before we meet her in the pilot. She makes a destructive decision to cope using risky behaviour such as drug use. But I want to rework the logline because sex isn’t really present in the show. It’s more about her rejecting things that are good for her (faith, sobriety) and embracing self destruction.
research what a logline actually is and try again! best!
I know what a Logline is...
That's a great compliment! Would you have any advice on improving the hook element in the Logline?

I'm totally watching this, though :)
