A former art world darling on the brink of bankruptcy hosts an exhibition of her latest work, but when the ghost of her estranged twin sister crashes the party, she must confront some burning questions about her past.
SYNOPSIS:
The Exhibition is a new take on the 'found footage' format in that all of the home movies portrayed are actual clips from my childhood. These tapes depict the beginning of the end of my parents' ten year marriage, a dissolution that in itself held its own nightmares for me and my sister. I wanted to explore the emotions and themes these tapes brought up in me: betrayal, denial, loss, the slow and inevitable destruction of a once loving and safe place. I also used my experience as a twin when writing about sibling rivalry and estrangement. The movie explores the horrors of what can happen when you lose your other half - whether it's a sibling or spouse.
