SYNOPSIS:

A young wife has been waiting for her husbands return for sometime. She is busy in the morning preparing herself for his return. Her mother, a friend and neighbor all want to help her but she's sure she can do it on her own. After having waited at the airport for some time, she approaches the courtesy counter to discover that the last time her husband was on a flight was a year ago. Immediately distraught, her mind travles through the journey of the last year reminding her that her husband died in terrible plane crash and she's struggling to come to grips with reality.

FLIGHT 91

\\ Plot \\ A young wife and newly wed anticipates the return of her husband from a business trip. She's busy getting herself ready to go and pick him up from the airport. A calendar shows the date circled of her husbands return. She checks a voicemail from her mother who gives her motherly support, but she brushes it off. Expecting her mom again, she takes a phone call from a friend who really wants to come along since it's been such a tough year with the loss of her father, but the wife is strong and doesn't need anyone's help grieving. John is her rock and she is strong with him. In leaving the house she is stopped by a neighbor who wants to bake her a casserole. The wife declines as she has many plans with John tonight. The strong willed neighbor says, but John isn't coming home today. The defiante wife stays to her course. John said flight 91 get's in may 22nd at 11am gate 11C. And I'm going to go get him. At the airport waiting for an hour the wife goes to the counter to find out if there have been any delays. The flight planner looks up her husband'a name and tells her that the last time her husband was on a flight was a year ago. Immediately distraught, her mind travles through the journey of the last year reminding her that her husband died in airplane crash a year ago. Her sorrow is consolled by the airline counter worker.
