After humanity triggers the apocalypse, an optimistic God grants a down-on-his-luck fry cook the power to heal one soul a day for 40 days to find someone worthy of saving the world before time runs out.
Very original, MB! The way I read your logline is (Depressed, broke and dissatisfied with his work options, a destitute ex-con reluctantly attends a Midwest church service and leaves with the ability to physically heal 40 people.) but I'd like to know more about what's at stake for your main protagonist. His soul? His life? More prison time? What exactly does he have to lose other than a dead-end job? Apart from that I think you have an awesome story here.

I think the logline gives enough detail. It could even be shorter, yet take that note you got and make it one sentence

This is a great story, but I agree with Frank. Stakes would wrap it up into a nice logline bow. Good job!
Haha..I love it.
