After years of competing as a bot fighter, Luz finally qualifies and is ready to escape the Oakland Freedom Zone projects, until an outsider crash-lands on her plans. Now she must choose between surviving in the only way she knows, or trusting a stranger to challenge the system that gave her a shot at her dreams.

SYNOPSIS:

Alloy Hearts is a Sci-Fi Action with themes of love and rags-to-riches, following a neuro-controlled bot fighter in the year 2073 who finally qualifies for the national competition, including a one-way ticket out of the Oakland Freedom Zone projects. When a wealthy outsider barges into her life and becomes her technician, she begins to question her relationship with the Chairman of the city, and begins to develop a dangerous feeling, one she suppressed for years inside their dystopia: hope. In addition to the previously mentioned themes, Alloy Hearts explores themes of family, friendship, and overcoming one's environment.
