Resilient: Below Poverty, inspired by the real-life struggles of Dr. Tommy Watson growing up homeless, a product of drug-addictive parents who were arrested 121 times and the unrelenting streets of the Five Points in Denver, CO, as he reluctantly returns to his former high school, as principal, intent on stopping corrupt politicians from gentrifying the neighborhood, closing the school, and tossing hundreds of students into a world further below poverty, homelessness, where hopelessness, hunger and despair kills the spirit of many.
