A racist, white attorney learns a life-changing lesson on race and love when a grieving black mother turns him into a black man.

SYNOPSIS:

When rogue cops murder an innocent black boy for the sport of it, the District Attorney, CYRUS SANDWICH—-misinformed by his ambitious assistant DWAYNE NETTLEBUTT—does not indict them.

The boy’s mother, JAMAICA WILLIAMS, demands justice, and getting none, kidnaps Cyrus, dupes him into taking a chemical shower that turns him black, then dumps him into a white supremacist community, ID-less and penniless.

Cyrus desperately tries to convince his tormentors, acquaintances, and friends who he really is, but nobody believes him. He is shunned, beaten, run down, jailed, shot at, and tortured. Finally, he is lynched by the traitorous Dwayne and the KKK, but is saved in the nick of time by Jamaica and her co-conspirators.

Cyrus is taken in by the black community for his own safety. He learns, along with Jamaica, that Jamaica’s only son was Cyrus’ stepbrother as a result of an affair between Cyrus’ assassinated father, a state senator and black sympathizer, and Jamaica when she was a young intern. Cyrus and Jamaica are now drawn to one another in a common cause — getting justice.

They must stay hidden until the chemical wears off, but are discovered and must escape by racing a car through a gauntlet of trigger-happy rogue cops. Cyrus is wounded, Jamaica seriously shot, and beloved co-conspirator, SOCRATES, killed. Cyrus races them to the hospital where he is arrested and thrown in jail.

Cyrus’ blackness wears off in jail and he is freed on his own recognizance. He has the rogue cops and his treacherous assistant arrested and brought to trial, where, after eyewitness testimony, the defendants see the writing on the wall.

Cyrus offers them an amazing plea bargain — a week of freedom before they serve their long sentences; but, first, they must take a shower to cleanse them of their sins. Mission accomplished, Cyrus and Jamaica walk away hand in hand, Jamaica getting her justice and both finding love.
