Sounds like an exciting Animation/Action story, Sam Smith! Love the title.
I think the logline needs some work. Here's a suggestion (a very rough suggestion Haha):
"Stranded after being ambushed on a mission, a _______ (adjective) Galactic Bloodhound gets rescued by the Federation's enemies. ________ (something like "Now in the company of pirates"), he ________ (goal of story) to ________ (stakes)."

I like concept. Here's my feedback that I just feel a bit of a tossup. One, good character-driven and restoring the stars plot, but the rest feels a little bit shallow.. I really wish the story didn't have to be half positive and half-nihilism. I love the world of bipedal anthropomorphic animals and good character details on MC's home planet and the spaceship he work for, but the precursors should be equally part animal-star hybrid but with Rells' image is more innocent and others well, more deviant. The war between Star-Hounds and Precursors just didn't add up like how did the "Transit Authority" conspired to set up the Precursors when the Precursors already destroy half the galaxy. I wish there could be more uglier truth to the whole event before Kali's death and well everybody. Also, edit some dialogues when I read it like in one scene or one page where multiple characters kept saying "But". Just add "However" or "In contrast" or even "If I was willing to do it..." then the characters expression would've been layers to it. Just keep doing your best, dude.
