Director Skyler Cooper (Hero Mars) leads the crew of this dramatic narrative short-to-feature film Worthy of Survival. 

SYNOPSIS:

This film explores the impact of war and connects it’s tragic impact to the long with-standing mental health challenges that go untreated within the African American community. Worthy of Survival creates a dual story of two disenfranchised heroes. One, Jordan Dunlap, is a black female combat veteran who struggles to break free from service related trauma. The other, Muley, a rare and remarkable runaway slave who assumes the identity of a free man to escape slavery. Principal photography takes place in SPRINGVILLE and SAN FRANCISCO.
