I like the emotional layer of estranged friends coming back together, especially if past conflicts start to resurface under pressure. That can really elevate the suspense beyond just the external threat.

I was curious if there’s a central character or perspective the story follows, and what specifically triggers the shift from reunion to trap. It feels like there’s an opportunity to sharpen the hook even further there.

Definitely a compelling concept for a character-driven thriller.
