Cajun Vietnam Vet MWD Handler now a retired K9 Sheriff has a drinking problem. Called back to his bayou hometown by his estranged sister, "Dog" uncovers an underground crime ring. After they try to kill him, he hides his recovery until he can seek redemption through revenge for all the right reasons. But before he can save them all, he first has to save himself. Based on true events.

SYNOPSIS:

ANDRÉ DOUGUÈT, African-American is known as DOG from his Cajun last name. Vietnam MWD-Vet now retired K9-Sheriff, he has horrible guilt over the loss of two "Partners." His estranged sister calls for help returning him to his Bayou hometown after ten years only to discover an underground crime ring. After they beat and leave him for dead he quips,"Don't you know it's better to let a sleeping Dog lie?' The crime lord responds, "Only in a grave."
