SYNOPSIS:
Based on my own true experience in 1968 where 30 "citified" teenage boys from all over the country were sent for various reasons to the third toughest survival school in the U.S. For two months, we rode horseback for 500 miles crossing the Continental Divide five times. Hostile weather and hostile prejudice come to the edge literally during the worst electrical storm any of them will ever see. 30 boys rode out, 30 cowboys came back. My Yale screenwriting professor suggested making the script co-ed to be more dramatic, and as usual, he was right.
