When their city is threatened with corruption, crime, and nightmarish creatures, a dymanic group of socially outcasted, second generation immigrant friends become superheroes to protect a city that fails to protect them while navigating bullying, racism, and broken family dynamics.
SYNOPSIS:
A night of trouble descends on Cone City when high school students Jake and Billy are working on a science project inside the laboratory of Jake’s next-door neighbor, Professor Guzzler, the city’s brilliant top scientist. Their ordinary night takes a dangerous turn when two mysterious thugs break into the lab and kidnap Guzzler.
Rather than call the police, Jake and Billy secretly follow the kidnappers and discover that they work for the sinister Captain Crush, who operates from a hidden lair beneath the city sewers. There, the boys uncover Crush’s plan to overthrow Cone City’s mayor—his despised older brother—expose the mayor’s secrets to the public, and seize control of the city with an army of monsters and henchmen.
Before his abduction, Guzzler had been developing a new power plant designed to solve Cone City’s recurring electricity shortages. Knowing the potential of Guzzler’s invention, Crush forces the scientist to redirect its energy toward creating a powerful army capable of bringing the city under his control.
After overhearing Crush’s plan, Jake and Billy realize they must escape and alert the authorities. But their daring attempt goes wrong: Billy makes it out while Jake is recaptured by one of Crush’s henchmen.
With Crush ordering Jake’s execution for trespassing, Billy suddenly finds himself alone in a race against time. Pursued through the city by Crush’s minions, he must reach law enforcement, expose the villain’s plot, and find a way to rescue his best friend before it’s too late.

I do think that it could be streamlined a bit. But! There's so much good stuff here and I already love it :)
