SYNOPSIS:

Police series called the “Bastard Squad”. A collection of 12 police officers under Internal Affairs investigation placed in a probation unit while there are investigated for suspected crimes and breaking police regulations. They get given all the criminal investigations no one else in the police department will touch with a barge pole, if they “fuck up” they are already half way out of the police force and no one cares about them. Their continued existence in the police force is their ability to solve the crimes no one else will take. A second story line is the individual members of the squad, are they guilty of their crimes or innocent! Each member of the squad has their own reason to remain in the police force, may be as protection from crimes committed or to continue their corrupt activities, we don’t know! The leader of the squad is there because he tried to take down a mafia boss and the court case ended when their key witness died and unnatural death before they could give evidence in court.
