When a ragtag squad of French Foreign Legionnaires stumble across an illegal gold mining camp deep in the French Guianan jungle, it'll take everything they’ve got to survive the harsh environment and combat the brutal guerrilla warriors that call this primeval rainforest home.

SYNOPSIS:

Tough, bigoted French Sergeant Morvan leads a motley squad of Legionnaires upriver and deep into the French Guianan rainforest. The mismatched group of veterans and rookies have undertaken a routine mission in search of illegal gold mines. Each man is looking for a second chance and an escape from their past misdeeds.

They stumble across a mining camp run by Odun, the ruthless and cunning Maroon leader of a gang of ‘garimpeiros’ (bandit miners - translation: those who hide) and discover an altar with offerings to the Ampuku spirit world along with evidence of Odun’s brutality.

The soldiers fight the Maroons, the jungle, and one another, as their lives descend into an emotionally charged, primitive struggle for survival. They face greed, loyalty and betrayal in a living hell where jaguars, guerrilla warfare traps, poison, and disease all take their toll until only one man remains. It’s Deliverance meets Apocalypse Now and Predator.
