When a mother and daughter are victimized by the hands of the same abuser, they find the courage to break away.

SYNOPSIS:

Annie Martin thought she had met the man of her dreams, musician John Taylor.

He was her knight in shining armor, complete with a powerful left hook, and a punch that thrust their marriage into a battlefield.

Not only was she a victim in her own home, but by the loopholes of a judicial system, that didn't protect her or her child.

When she decides to make a stand against the violence, she loses parental rights, and contact with her precious little girl, Claire.

At the age of sixteen, Claire fed up with being a punching bag for her alcoholic father, and desperate for some answers, finds the courage to escape.

She makes a break for freedom in search of her long-lost mother, and in the process is befriended by a woman named Lottie, who helps her to find peace and resolution in her life.
