A young mother struggling to survive is thrust into a world of corruption and greed while paying the penance, for her incarcerated husband.

SYNOPSIS:

DONNA BILLINGS, a thirty-something mother of two, thought she was living the American dream until her husband goes to prison, on a drug possession charge. Who knew how hard it could be to put macaroni and cheese on the table, get medicine for an asthmatic child, and find a job after being a stay-at-home parent for years. Donna refuses to give in as she fights to create a better life for herself and to provide a stable environment for her innocent young daughters.
