When another young girl turns up missing with no suspects caught, a university lecturer encounters a supernatural entity that leads her to discover the truth behind an evil conspiracy plaguing the town.

SYNOPSIS:

Set in the small university town of Alberton, Incarnation uncovers the story of Jodie Weston, a straight-shooting biologist with a mild anti-depressant addiction who recently moved to Alberton with her sick father.

Jodie’s mentor Dr Deacon, who is a long-time ambassador of the university personally requested her appointment at the university. Upon Jodie’s arrival in Alberton she reunites with Hugo, an old friend from the city she grew up with.

Jodie begins to be haunted by vivid dreams and visions revolving around Emily, a previous student at the university who was abducted over 30 years ago.

The visions and dreams Jodie experiences, become violent, dark, and more frequent to the point Jodie has no option but to turn to a spiritual guide. The spiritual guide is left dumbstruck and unable to pinpoint the motives of this entity.

Armed with only a name Jodie begins her own investigation using the clues found within her dreams. She discovers that Emily is one of many girls that have been classified as missing, with no suspects or arrests made.

Hugo attempts to pursue a romantic relationship with Jodie but becomes extremely frustrated by Jodie’s obsession with her investigation. Coupled with her addiction to anti-depressants Jodie and Hugo’s relationship is pushed to breaking point.

Jodie contacts Emily’s only surviving brother Cody who points her in the direction of the policewoman Edith, who was removed from the investigation into Emily’s disappearance.

Jodie locates Edith and explains that she believes that a coverup is in place to protect the perpetrator.

Jodie loses her job at the university because of her obsession with the case. At this point the dreams are at their most vivid and provides with Jodie a vital clue: Emily was in a secret relationship with a lecturer at the University.
