When a bratty runaway teen identifies a stranger as her father, he – blinded by his crush on a female toy store owner – simply goes along with the lie, leaving the three of them caught in a Christmas web of misunderstandings, fond feelings, and downright ridiculous improvisations.
SYNOPSIS:
Short Outline – “Knowing You”
During the Christmas season, a single man unwittingly becomes entangled in the lie of a headstrong girl who has run away from home. She pretends to be his daughter, primarily to appease a concerned female shopkeeper. The man plays along because he's developing feelings for the woman, but his growing bond with the girl increasingly complicates the situation. When the truth threatens to come out, all three must confront their fears, pasts, and expectations. Ultimately, they discover that family is sometimes formed through chance encounters – not always by blood.
