A Story of an 18 Year old Student who survived by hiding in the jungle for almost two years together with a friend and other civilians to escape from the Japanese soldiers to over the country until the liberation Day.
Marina is now 100 years old, She just received an 'HUMANITARIAN COURAGE" Award last night December 15, an Olympian Award founded by DR. GELLINI OLYMPIA together with others Awardees. Her Book will at the Amazon and Barnes and Nobles before the actual filming begins. Happy Holidays to everyone! Please excuse my absence.
- Somehow a inciting incident starting of the logline seems to not work here, not sure how to reconstruct? Maybe some more info through short synopsis could work to be able to work on the logline?
Hi Rutger! I'm here....Jungle where Marina hid when she was 18 years old was in the Island Negros Occidental, at the Visayan Province of the Philippines. Marina was invited by a school teacher to go to the Island to meet the nephew who was the guerilla (Warrior) leader. One thing exciting about the story was how she survived with the group including the Norwegian Sailors who got stranded, how she kept all her Original War Documents including the leaflet dropped by the American Army from the air...Marina is now 100 years old and 5 months.
Thank you Arthur for the Stars given. Her Story was based on her letter to one of the Norwegian Sailor's son living in Seattle Washington who gave Marina a book written by his Father's friend who was in the Philippines during the War.

- They go over the border AFTER liberation day?
- "..to over country.." doesn't read well

Hi Leonor, sounds like a great story!! What was the moment they all fled into the jungle? What precisely preceded that,?
