Synopsis: In the late 21st century a lethal pandemic sweeps across Earth. With no cure and a mounting death toll, desperate scientists develop an experimental treatment using nanotechnology. Synthetically engineered NANOBOTS are created to kill the virus from within the body. The bots are so effective that desperate governments start distributing them worldwide with little testing. People call the life saving cure, “Miracle Dust.” Two months later, the nanotech malfunctions causing the nanobots to attack human cells instead of the virus. Within one year, 98% of human life is eradicated. Survivors call the bots by a different name...BLACK DUST

One hundred years later, nearly all humans live in remote, isolated communities called Terrets. The most feared Terret in The Northern Territory is Gehenna, a violent community of outlaws ruled by their deranged King, JACOB. Halfway across the Barrens, the brilliant Doctor RYLAND THORN has made a world changing discovery. A revolutionary new method of storing solar energy called “Hydra Fuel."
