After a battered Las Vegas stripper escapes her abusive mob boss husband, she runs away to Hollywood to become a singer. In time she wins the affection of a young chef and must do everything in her power to prevent her past from interfering with her future.

SYNOPSIS:

Bella, a twenty-five-year-old stripper packs her belongings and flees to Los Angeles from her mob boss husband, Amir. After her best friend Cyndi instructs her to. Amir makes her spill her guts, giving him Bella's whereabouts. Now in L.A. Bella settles into a hotel, becomes a housekeeper and meets Angel, a promising chef that cooks the meals for the guest at the hotel who looks after his ill grandmother, Carla.

Amir and Cyndi arrive in Los Angeles and quickly recruits a few Knuckleheads to watch out for Bella in their neighborhood, knowing that one of them will spot or see something suspicious. While trying to get a taxi to the local karaoke bar, Angel gives Bella a ride on his bicycle and she sings, which is why he secretly records her and posts it. The next day, Everyone, including Amir see the video, which causes Bella to pack her belongings and leave. With his relationship with Bella is on the rocks, Angel returns to the hospital and finds out his grandmother has passed away, there's nothing much left for him to stay and returns home to find the three Knuckleheads looking for Bella.

Rather than turn her in, Angel rushes to the bus station, confronts Bella and makes amends with her. The three Knuckleheads alert Amir but he is too late to catch her. Arriving in San Francisco the next day, Bella and Angel check into a hotel but not too long after that, Amir is well aware that they are there as he has Cyndi perform oral sex with a nerdy clerk to learn of Bella's room number. While going to retrieve coffee for her and Angel, Angel is taken hostage and Bella is forced to give Amir what he wants. Not giving up so easily, Bella sends Amir on a wild goose chase, having him take a ride on a trolley and a trip to an opera house. While Amir is frustrated and Cyndi lets her guard down, Bella helps Angel escape, leaving it to her to settle the score.

The performances of the opera distract Amir, causing Cyndi and him to separate. On her own in the bathroom, Cyndi is left with no back up and learns that Cyndi is rat. In a daze from being knocked out earlier, Bella disguises herself as a performer and causes Cyndi to get on a trampoline, falling to her death.

With Angel safe, Bella leaves him with a locket, telling him to flee back to Los Angeles and not look back.

Back in Las Vegas, returning to work, Amir returns home but encounters illusions that Bella is in the mansion with him. After receiving a massage, the masseuse disappears while using the bathroom and Amir knowing she was there is struck with a dart, knocking him unconscious. The next day, Amir returns to his casino and learns that it's been robbed. With nothing more than stress, Amir drinks himself to sleep for the next couple of nights. The idea comes to him that Bella has been there the whole time and is hiding somewhere in the mansion. Egging her to come out, Bella reveals herself and offers the drunken Amir a cup of coffee, but the angry mob boss goes to great extremes to strangle her. Back in her hiding place, Bella listens to Amir threaten the man that once saved her life and will go after him when she is dead. Rather than let that happen, Bella shoots Amir and burns the mansion to the ground.

Back in Los Angeles, Angel is an executive chef, seeing a therapist and misses Bella. To take his mind off of her, he travels to Las Vegas, gambles and returns but still feels empty. One night, while cooking for an important guest, The Duchess, an opera singer. Angel is introduced to her, to which, she is a fan. Later in the evening, A limo driver escorts Angel to the Duchess hotel room. While there, the Duchess is revealed to be Bella. Shocked but happy, Angel and Bella spend the night together, finding happiness at last.

Returning to his home in East L.A. Angel is approached by Hector, his childhood bully. Rather than take any abuse, Angel beats him up and leaves him in shame. His confidence gives him enough courage to move away into the higher-class apartment. With Bella's locket in his possession still, Angel returns it to her but now knows that Amir was after it and learns it contained an orange amber.

The pieces come together after Angel learns that Bella has what Amir wanted and returns to the hotel room to find her gone.

Ten years later, Angel is married and has a daughter performing in a ballet recital. With another little girl performing at the same time as his daughter. About to leave, Bella is introduced by her daughter to Angel and his wife. Unable to let anyone know anything, Angel and Bella go their separate ways again, leaving what they had behind
