A young man’s relatives are determined to reunite their nephew with his teenage love. To succeed, they must overcome a scheming coworker, and his gold-digging sister.

SYNOPSIS:

When PAOLO’s mother died, he left Venice and his teenage love, MAGDALENA, to live in New York with his AUNT ANGELICA, her husband, MANNY, and her brother, FRANCO.

Twelve years later, Magdalena (now 27) arrives in New York, the representative of an exclusive Italian shoe company seeking to expand its market.

Paolo (29) is a successful consultant in a New York advertising company. His boss, WALLACE, trusts Paolo to land the lucrative account with the Italian shoe company.

Magdalena visits Paolo’s aunt, Angelico, and uncles, bringing a new birthday suit for Uncle Franco. Angelica figures out that Magdalene secretly longs to see Paolo again.

It seems success in both business and romance is a definite possibility!

But Paolo’s co-worker, MARTIN, and his sister SARAH, have their own self-serving counter plans. If Paolo fails to obtain the contract with Magdalena, Wallace will demote him, and Martin will get Paolo’s position and his office. As for his sister, Sarah, she plans to make the handsome Paolo her husband. She claims he seduced her when drunk and now she’s pregnant with his twins.

And so, plot challenges counterplot.

The odds against the rekindling of Paolo and Magdalena’s relationship appear doomed. It’s going to need the wiles of Paolo’s relatives, particularly his zany Uncle Franco, to cut through the fabrications of these formidable opponents and bring Paolo and Magdalena together.
