THE PRINCESS & THE POET

After their lives become entwined from a chance meeting at a small downtown cafe, Princess Margaret of Valdavia and Eric Thompson, a local LA Poet are thrown into a web of deceit and violence as  a long-buried secret and a political traitor sabotage not only their relationship, but world peace itself. 

SYNOPSIS:

King Richard and his daughter, Princess Margaret of Valdavia are in Los Angeles to attend the 2026 World Plutonium Summit to insure the passage of their proposal for a Moratorium on all plutonium mining as well as the banning of the future manufacturing of nuclear weapons. Valdavia is home to the world's largest plutonium mines and the King's and Princess's efforts to stop plutonium mining for nuclear weapons has constantly been thwarted by their arch enemy and war criminal Konstantin Volkov, the head of a Russian Consortium. Volkov will stop at nothing to not only defeat the Moratorium but abolish the monarchy of Valdavia and acquire the mines for his own government. Princess Margaret, who dodges her bodyguards the first morning they arrive in LA and finds a quaint neighborhood café, meets Eric Thompson, a waiter and would-be poet. Their lives intertwine as they are drawn into the mechanizations of Volkov’s web of deceit, treachery, and the kidnapping of both Lady Mary Harrington, Princess Margaret’s Lady-in-Waiting, and Eric’s father. Gerald Thompson. As the Princess, Eric, the King, his General of Valdavia's armed Forces, and the United State government, represented by Senator Bradley Larson, desperately try to stop Volkov from Interfering with the vote, a long-buried secret and a ruthless traitor are revealed that could not only defeat the Moratorium, but end world peace itself.
