A Cargo Ship in space diverts to seek medical help after a meteor shower, on the way discovering an alien creature hitchhiking on their ship.

SYNOPSIS:

The Shallows meets IT

A maintenance crew works quadruple overtime on the outside of a Cargo ship in space after a harsh meteor shower. Another shower strikes and one of the crew is nearly paralysed. With the ship now in worse condition and the medical bay unable to help their teammate, the crew decides to divert their route to the nearest colony station on a small desolate planet. Soon After turning the ship in its new direction, they discover that there is something big and scary climbing on the ship’s exterior.

Now unable to make repairs and explain their situation to the planet’s inhabitants via comms, the crew decide they can’t bring the ship to the planet and must instead send out the shuttle. A grouping of three, including the injured party, shoot out in the shuttle towards the planet but realize the unexpected when the creature hitches a ride with them down to the surface. Upon landing, the creature now prowls around its new found territory with the center being the shuttle. Inside the survivors struggle against time between their dying friend, lack of resources, and draining oxygen. The fear grips tightly too all, but to Alexis the newest member of the team the most.

With options tightening, the colonists on the planet attempt rescue, but are almost all slaughtered and put in nearly the same situation. The only thing the team can do now, is buy enough time to get the injured party to the facility nearby. It is then that the creature turns the tables, it reveals itself as sentient and asks to fight the strongest member, and in exchange will grant one wish. Without other options the crew lead fights the beast, and beats the creature earning the wish. Gravely injured he wishes for his crew to get back home, and the creature grants the wish, in the sky the ship they thought had continued on is there waiting for them. In the end only the two female crew members survive the ordeal and stand with each other stronger in the face of fear. They remember their friends fondly as they are escorted off the planet, and return home.
