SYNOPSIS:

OVERVIEW: I think of “Korean Shooter” as a Sports Western. It explores revenge and personal relationships while set within the bizarre and little-understood world of Olympic-level competitive air pistol shooting. In the short script, Dong Sun Lee visits the United States to confront his perceived American enemy whom Dong Sun blames for causing the Olympic failure that left his life in shambles. This short is part of my in-progress feature script that explores the broader causes and impact of Dong Sun’s failure, including his doomed marriage and fractured relationship with his young adult daughter. I plan to shoot this short as a proof of concept for the broader feature that I'm writing and hope to direct.
