In reading Dad's final wishes, they learn his life was a lie: he secretly worked for the CIA as a foreign currency manipulator. His final advice to his children was to 'watch their flanks' as Russian foreign operatives had a score to settle.

While reconciling themselves to a new reality, a U.S. Forest Service Ranger advises them of a mandated two-week quarantine due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Later they learn the virus sidelines the ranger as he is hospitalized. Stuck with each other, a brother (a N.Y. Times best-selling author) and two sisters (a tenured college professor and a Silicon Valley venture capitalist) who had grown apart, struggle to find common ground.

While fulfilling their father's final wishes, they discover a $500,000 stash of gold and a bank safety deposit box key. All is well until the gold and key show up missing while they were out on a mountain hike. Clues point to an unknown intruder. They suspect a foreign agent. All is lost. Are they in danger?
