A girl & her parents, a legendary old fighter, and a Fox Spirit must traverse over 3 lifetimes to resolve a conflict of 2 seemingly opposite styles of mystical martial arts. 

SYNOPSIS:

WHITE LIGHT STORY is a complete 32-Episode Animated Drama/Fantasy/Martial-Arts Miniseries, told in 8 unique chapters that together weave the greater tale.

The series follows a GIRL and her PARENTS in post-war Japan, who discover a new style of martial arts based on Spirit, and harmony. When practised, it creates a beautiful WHITE LIGHT. Unknowingly, it opens a magical Gate, bridging the PHYSICAL WORLD to the SPIRIT WORLD. A curious FOX SPIRIT enters, and falls in love with the girl.

Meanwhile SIFU, a mysterious fighting legend, is perfecting his own style of mystic martial arts based on Physical force, and willpower. When practised, it creates a beautiful RED GLOW.

Having sworn an Oath to find a student to pass his knowledge to before he dies, he is drawn to the girl’s family. Their meeting however throws all their destinies astray; the girl’s parents are killed, Sifu is devastated, the Fox Spirit is forced back to the Spirit World, and the Gate is no more. Scattered, they must all fight to remember (or forget!) the truth of their pasts, find each other again, and ultimately heal their collective karma and Spirits once and for all.
