SYNOPSIS:
On the eve of Pearl Harbor, four young American nurses are among the 200 women based at US hospitals in the South Pacific. It's the dream of a lifetime: travel overseas to work in a tropical paradise. The women work side by side with local Filipina nurses. In between shifts there is romance and adventure, until December 7th 1941 when all hell breaks loose as the Japanese launch their infamous attacks.
These women become the first American women trapped behind enemy lines. They save countless lives while trying to survive. When MacArthur flees to Australia, these nurses become Japanese prisoners of war. How these young women persevere and survive is the heart of "Angels of War". Their stories have been forgotten...until now.
