A CIA Officer on a career “get well” assignment working with SEALS at a base on the steamy Mekong River must convince Saigon a major offensive will happen during Tet.

SYNOPSIS:

MEKONG STATION is the story of a small CIA base on the Mekong River working with a Navy SEAL unit and tough Vietnamese paramilitary members to conduct the Phoenix Program in Dong Thap Province, South Vietnam.

Contrary to what Washington and Saigon believe, Mekong Station gets intelligence that the Viet Cong will use the 1968 Tet (New Year) festival ceasefire as a cover to initiate a major offensive against the U.S. and South Vietnamese forces.

Now the base chief must convince higher ups to prepare for the coming battle before it is too late.

Intrigue and action takes place along the vast, scenic Mekong where the Viet Cong forces hide and fight to cast out the American “invaders” and overthrow the government. American resolve is facing its biggest test.
