SYNOPSIS:

John Grant is a former L-Ops soldier—specialists with chips in their brains that let them see potential outcomes of any scenario. The trick is, L-Ops vets are treated like garbage back home: no one will hire them, they can't play the lottery, can't buy stocks...which is why Grant is about to lose everything.

But when a shadowy organization kidnaps his ex-wife, Grant is presented with an even worse scenario: to save her, he needs to assassinate Senator Gabby Wiles, the politician responsible for putting veterans through the ringer. And, as it happens, for ruining his specific career. There's no love lost, but murder's still murder.

With the help of his old tech-savvy spotter, Darby, Grant embarks on a mission that will test not just his skills, but his morals and resolve as well. Because even when you can see every outcome, you still need to decide which outcome you can live with.
