UNHAPPY PRINCESS

UNHAPPY PRINCESS
By Roberto Leoni

GENRE: Thriller
LOGLINE:

A call girl who stole the diamonds of a crime boss hides on a private island with the complicity of a child who turns out to be very "special"

SYNOPSIS:

Giada is a beautiful young platinum-haired African American call girl who has an appointment with a client in a luxury hotel on the coast.

While Giada in the bathroom prepares for "work", a hitman swoops into the room and the terrified girl sees through a crack in the door the hitman torturing his client to get back a bag of diamonds stolen from a drug kingpin. The two fight and kill each other, Giada then takes the diamonds and runs away. But in the corridor, the girl meets a second hitman who, realizing what has happened, chases her through the corridors and gardens to the hotel pier. To escape him, Giada steals a motorboat and leaves, but in the open sea, she runs out of fuel, and the boat drifts. Night falls and the drug kingpin and her assassins must for the moment give up looking for the girl whom the currents meanwhile carry away...

After another day and another night adrift without food and water, Giada ends up against the rocks of a small private island and the undertow leaves her stunned on the beach, where Angel finds her. He is an 8-year-old boy who spends a short vacation with his teenage sister Regina and the waiters Svetlana and Yuri in the only home on the island, the luxurious villa of his father, the wealthy financier Augustin Shadok. Angel has a heated fantasy and lives on the island as if it were his imaginary kingdom, so the beautiful and strange castaway appears to him as the heroine of a fairy tale. Giada, in fact, tells him that she is an unhappy princess that he must save from an evil wizard (the boss). The hitmen who soon after arrive to search the island, seem to confirm this fantasy and Angel protects and hides Giada.

Escaped from the bandits, the girl continues the game with Angel, but she begins a secret relationship with Yuri to convince him to repair an old tender with which she can leave. Bot Svetlana and Yuri, however, die for an accident and Giada has no choice but to stay on the island at least until Shadok arrives.

Her forced stay makes happy both Angel and Regina. In fact, the young girl, attracted by Giada's beauty, falls in love with her.

Giada matches her out of convenience and boredom, but in a trivial accident, Regina also dies. Angel seems annihilated by his sister's tragic end and Giada has no choice but to stay with him, discovering with horror that the part she is playing is not that of the princess, but that of the victim...

The only way to save herself is to escape, but how?
