Fresh out of high school & now entering the real world, two friends with different cultures fall for one another in a gritty city where challenges arise throughout everyday life.

SYNOPSIS:

Its graduation day for Trenton High when Alex & his friends Macho, Armelio & Angel plot on they're later in the night party plans.

Before leaving, Alex runs into his arch nemesis & classmate from home economics Nia Miller. Alex & Nia converse for a bit about their future plans before the two rivals say their goodbyes.

Nia along with her mother Joann & her wild cousin Tiffany discuss her plans for the night which is a night out with her rapper boyfriend - Bobby Thugs who is nowhere to be found.

After having a heated argument due to Bobby’s absence during her graduation, Nia & Bobby split up.

Later in the night, Alex, Macho, Angel & Armelio are all kicked out of a strip club in Philly. Macho convinces Alex to call his older brother Lulu who owns a club for a free entrance. Always jealous of his older brother Lulu, Alex gives in.

After a wild & long night out with Tiffany, Nia is bought down to reality the next day when Joann advises Nia to start looking for a job along with paying rent.

Nia takes a job at a super market, Alex works at his father’s Bodega while constantly being harassed by his older sister Lissette and Panama, the neighborhood bum.

Summer turns into Fall & we follow Nia as she now attends Culinary School & is surprised to see Alex flying through the door as a student himself.

Feelings for Nia overtake Alex as he constantly pursues after her by asking her out on a date in which she denies however reluctantly gives in.

The two then fall for one another, Joann disagrees & rage runs through Bobby Thugs once he finds out.

In a city that shows no pity consumed by crime & diversity, Alex & Nia must do whatever it takes to keep their hearts aligned.
