SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis: "Gingerbread" is an action-horror screenplay centering on Tyrone Henry, a traumatized teenage serial killer known as Gingerbread. Haunted by psychological episodes of split personalities triggered by his grandmother Nana's death, Tyrone navigates a fractured reality. Raised in a chaotic brothel by his mother Tonya, a drug-addicted prostitute, he witnesses a lifestyle rife with addiction, sex, and abuse. C.J., Tonya’s abusive boyfriend and the town’s drug dealer, inflicts both mental and physical torment on Tyrone whenever money is tight. Tragedy strikes when a corrupt mayor and his henchmen leave Tonya for dead in a house explosion. Consumed by Nana’s spirit, Tyrone embarks on a violent rampage at school, critically injuring a classmate and claiming more victims. As authorities launch an intense manhunt, Tyrone mysteriously vanishes, leading everyone to believe he is dead. Twenty years later, Tyrone re-emerges as Gingerbread, returning home with sinister intentions. Coldly calculating and bloodthirsty, he seeks retribution against those he blames for his parents' demise. However, Nana has her own motives—something powerful and sacred was stolen from her, and she demands its return.
