SYNOPSIS:
Space Race : Induction - "The race for survival is on."
Space Race: Induction is part one in a three part Science Fiction trilogy. The concept centres around Earths desperate desire to find extra-terrestrial life and the lengths people will take to ensure their survival.
Beginning sometime in the future when the ‘Space Race’ is at its fizzling demise, Earths ‘powers that be’ must come to grips with being alone in the universe until alien life finds them. With an offer to great to ignore, Earth is quick to agree to the aliens deal for Earth to build and host a stage of the universes greatest Space Race. Before too long, it becomes clear that there is much more to the deal than it first seems and Earth soon becomes the seat of contention as interstellar politics throws Earth into complete chaos. It is up to a small group of overlooked astronauts to become the heroes Earth needs but sometimes the bad guys win too.
A big budget feature film, Space Race: Induction will wow audiences with stunning visual effects while they fall in love with relatable characters fighting a losing battle. This epic tale of heroes and villains is set in a futuristic world too wrapped up in self-pity to avoid the traps of empty promises and fanciful glory.
The cast is full of fun and quirky characters, both human and alien. The story is entwined with threads of politics, technology, humanity and heroism with the end of this first instalment having a rarely seen twist as the enemy succeeds in taking control of Earth, tipping the balance of interstellar power in their favour. The second instalment is also complete in its first draft form featuring even more sensational concepts and spectacular character journeys.
The film will be able to be shot in minimal locations with multiple scenes shot within studio sets. Set design, costume and character creation will tie in with sharp visual effects to make this film the next Sci-Fi screen sensation.

I'd lose the word "Space and Agency" easy fix for a 5. :)

Hey, Jonathan! This is a rad start. I love love love the "ragtag team of experts" a lot, and feel like that's almost always a recipe for a fun piece.
You've made the inciting incident clear, for sure, but I would think about both better identifying what the actual obstacle is (what's standing in their way of doing this/making the construction of this space station so difficult?), and what the stakes are (what's the "or else" here?). These are the things that are going to truly pull your audience in and make your piece pop that much more :)
