Docudrama. Adventure. Travel. Sailing. Something different...
Join a family as they sail through sixteen countries in search of the life skills we will all need to thrive in a quickly changing world. The story is told by a sixty year old version of seven year old Saelyn, looking back on a pivotal time in his life, which has the potential to save humanity. A docudrama, it is basically a documentary that follows a fictional story arch. Seventy two thousand video clips shot over three years were re-ordered to tell the story.
SYNOPSIS:
The film is edited. We need to replace the current narration with the right voice. To do: color correction, audio sweetening, and tighten up the original sound track that was partially written and recorded at sea. A docudrama that has already been shot and edited, we sailed the seas looking for wisdom. Guitar in hand, we filmed with indigenous spiritual leaders, politicians, diplomats, professors, gangsters, and Rastafarians. The movie is our quest to find seven basic character skills that will prepare people to deal with anything in life. They are 1) Respect, 2) Trying One's Hardest, 3) Discipline, 4) Problem Solving, 6) being Adaptable, and, 7) Being able to Work Well with Others.
