A decade has passed, two partners in crime attempt to mend their long-time friendship despite their deal that went bust, their separate paths, and the dangerous job they undertake one last time.
SYNOPSIS:
Lalo, a former hustler turned big time drug dealer has quit the business, because of his narrow escape from doing time in Angola Louisiana State Penitentiary (aka The Farm/The Plantation). Is now resolved in his passion; dancing and teaching Argentine tango, although stuck in a small studio in a small town in south Louisiana. A place he'd rather be miles away from, in his hometown - Buenos Aires; but he's now flat busted broke. However, he still owes his ex-mate Rex, a huge favour, for getting him off the hook and out of doing "time", for a drug deal that went bust. Rex, a drug smuggler, has been offered the job of a lifetime, which he has agreed to and afterward, he's vowed to quit the business altogether and live his dream like Lalo (since he has also fallen in love with The Tango). In the meantime, he needs his help, with a massive shipment that needs to arrive at the port New Orleans and Galveston via cruise ships, before a hurricane hits the western Caribbean, in about a week's time. If the drugs don't get to the US, ASAP. The supply of cocaine to the US will be adversely interrupted, besides the damage it'll cause to the smuggling infrastructure in Central America. In order to maximise the shipment and expedite matters, it must be attached to the hull of the ship undetected, whilst the ships are tendered off port in Belize destined for Galveston, Texas.
